Nearby, but not in town, as we have done a great job of preserving open space around Crested Butte, but as you drive around the area you will notice pockets of homes here and there. Maybe you like the idea of being close to the ski area, but don’t want to be in the town of Mt. Crested Butte or you like the wide open feeling between the town of Crested Butte and CB South. Crested Butte South offers a great feeling of community, amenities that you usually can only find in a town, but a little bit more space around you.
Some of these subdivisions may only have 20 homesites, but they are each unique in terms of their access, views and property sizes. You may discover an area you didn’t even think to consider by reading through this section! So if you want to be nearby, and not necessarily in the middle of town, one of these places could be home.
